Social Care TV Wins 'CPD Provider of the Year' 2023

We are delighted to announce that Social Care TV has won 'CPD Provider of the Year' at the CPD Awards 2023!

The CPD Awards is an annual celebration of high quality CPD, with 11 award categories.

The 'CPD Provider of the Year' category was sponsored by The CPD Group this year - the largest and most trusted accreditation group in the UK, at the forefront of raising standards in the training industry.

The CPD Group website states "CPD and CPD accreditation is recognised and widely accepted in the United Kingdom and across Europe. The UK places great importance on professional development and encourages individuals across various industries to engage in CPD activities to enhance their skills, knowledge, and expertise."

According to the CPD certification service:

"CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development and is the term used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop and enhance their abilities. CPD is a holistic approach towards the enhancement of personal skills and proficiency throughout a professional’s career.

Continuing Professional Development is a commitment to ongoing lifelong learning. CPD encourages looking forward and identifying opportunities to learn something new, refresh existing knowledge, improve skills, or simply keep up-to-date with the latest developments within a particular profession or industry.

In practice, CPD can mean everything from taking a training course or attending an educational event, to studying for new qualifications or learning new aspects of a job."

Head judge, Suzannah Lipscomb, led the team of esteemed judges this year. The CPD Awards stated "As an experienced academic herself, Suzannah appreciates the importance of high-quality educational professionals and practices. She has an eye for identifying businesses who deserve prestigious recognition."

Winners for all categories were announced on Friday 24th November 2023.
