Care Worker of the Month – April 2023

It is the last Friday of the month, which can mean only one thing here at SCTV HQ! It is time to announce our Care Worker of the Month Award winner.

This month we were delighted to receive a very high number of entries. Thank you to everyone that entered. We were very moved by your incredible stories and nominations. We are very pleased to announce that our winner for April is Olive Lewis– Care Worker at Lougher Home Care Ltd. Olive was nominated by her manager, Martine. Please find Martine’s story below:

“Olive is 70 years old and completely dedicated to her caring role. Olive has earned respect and admiration from her colleagues and clients with her 'can-do' attitude and nothing is ever too much trouble for her.

Olive's priority is always the well-being of her clients and her ability to build trust and rapport with new clients demonstrates her knowledge and understanding of person-centred care delivery. Olive has no intention of retiring just yet and continues to support our team daily by providing a bench-mark standard for all new staff to aspire too.

We are very proud of Olive’s achievements and continued support and feel Olive deserves to be recognised with such award.”

Many congratulations Olive. You are truly inspirational and we thank you for your dedication, for making such a difference to the lives of countless others and for all you do.
