Care Worker of the Month – June 2026

We are delighted to announce our Care Worker of the Month award winner for June – Carly Bradley.

Carly was nominated by Joanne Gedling, her colleague and Clinical Lead at Oaklands Care Home.

Please find Jo's nomination story below:

"I would like to nominate Carly Bradley at Oaklands Care Home. She has been a Carer at Oaklands since she was a teenager and is now the deputy manager, Carly works alongside carers and nurses on 12 hour care shifts and also has supernumerary shifts where she assists in the office supporting manager and Clinical lead.

Carly has excellent experience and knowledge and displays competence and professionalism in a challenging work place.

She goes above and beyond to look after our residents with dementia and challenging behaviours, she is respected by staff, residents families and visiting professionals.

She truly cares for and advocates for others whilst being a wife and mother to two teenage boys. She lives local to the home and will often pop in on her days off if needed or just to have a cuppa with staff and residents.

It would be difficult to imagine Oaklands without Carly."

Many congratulations again Carly from all at SCTV and thank you from all of us for the incredible work you do.
