Care Worker of the Month – January 2026

We are delighted to announce that our Care Worker of the Month award winner for January 2026 is Kathleen Jones!

Kath was nominated by her Registered Manager, Martine Metcalf.

"We would like to nominate Kath for care worker of the month please :) Kathleen (known to all as Kath) has been a cornerstone of our team for six years, and many more in the care industry—clearly proof that experience really does come with kindness. She is an all-round good egg: dependable, supportive, and always the first to put her hand up to cover a shift when the team needs her. Kath’s infectious laugh and unwavering positivity brighten every room she walks into, making her a firm favourite with both clients and colleagues alike.

She consistently goes above and beyond for her clients—whether that’s picking up shopping and prescriptions, tackling a bit of garden weeding, or making sure bird tables are topped up.

Quite simply, there’s very little Kath wouldn’t do to put a smile on someone’s face, and that dedication makes her more than deserving of Care Worker of the Month."
