Care Worker of the Month – June 2025

We are delighted to announce that our Care Worker of the Month award winner for June is Paula Burbridge – a carer and owner of Connies Carers. Many congratulations Paula!

Paula was nominated by her colleague, Ros de Carteret. Please find Ros’s nomination story below:

“I would like to nominate my boss Paula Burbridge, the owner of Connies Carers. Paula set up Connies Carers in 2007 because she realised there was inadequate care here in Guernsey. As a result, Connies Carers has cared for many people, but there is rarely a thought given for the boss. Paula is a hands on boss, informed, up to date, caring and fair. I think she needs some recognition for her dedication. I have worked as a carer for Paula at Connies Carers for 4 years.”
