Care Worker of the Month – August 2026
Many Congratulations to our August Care Worker of the Month Award Winner – David Keene.
We would like to offer our heartfelt congratulations to our Care Worker of the Month award winner for September - Kiranjeet Kaur.
Kiranjeet was nominated by Registered Manager, Jacqueline Willocks, at Ethical Homecare Solutions Ltd.
Please find Jacqueline's nomination story below:
“I would love to nominate Kiranjeet Kaur of Ethical Homecare Solutions for Care Worker of the Month.
Kiranjeet is a compassionate, dependable and committed care worker who takes genuine pride in the support she provides. She treats the people she supports with dignity and respect and understands that excellent care isn’t simply about completing tasks – it is about making people feel safe, listened to and valued in their own homes.
Over recent months, we have watched Kiranjeet’s confidence and abilities grow enormously. Her reliability, judgement and commitment were recognised when she was selected to progress into a Team Leader role, an opportunity she has embraced wholeheartedly.
One of Kiranjeet’s greatest strengths is her genuine enthusiasm for learning. Give her a training or development opportunity and she is on it straight away! She doesn’t see training as something that simply needs completing; she wants to understand more, improve her skills and put what she learns into practice.
We recently reintroduced Social Care TV as an additional learning and development resource within Ethical Homecare, and Kiranjeet embraced it immediately. She genuinely loves to learn and continually looks for opportunities to develop herself further, which makes nominating her for an SCTV award feel particularly fitting.
This attitude has been especially evident during her current leadership development programme. Alongside continuing to provide care, Kiranjeet is learning to support and guide colleagues, oversee standards and take greater responsibility within our service. She has also recently begun on-call leadership training, another significant milestone in her progression.
What makes us particularly proud is that Kiranjeet hasn’t forgotten what leadership in social care is really about. It isn’t a title – it is being the person who steps forward when somebody needs help, notices when something isn’t right, supports colleagues and keeps the wellbeing of the person receiving care at the centre of every decision.
Social care needs people who want to keep learning, developing and raising standards throughout their careers. Kiranjeet represents exactly that. She is an excellent care worker who is now using her passion for learning to develop into the next generation of social care leadership.
We are incredibly proud of her journey and believe recognising Kiranjeet Kaur as SCTV Care Worker of the Month would celebrate not only the wonderful care worker she already is, but the inspirational leader she is becoming.”
Many congratulations again Kiranjeet from all at SCTV. Your sincere passion for learning and development within care is truly inspirational, and we are delighted to recognise this by awarding you Care Worker of the Month. Thank you from all of us for the incredible work you do and we wish you the very best for the future.
