Care Worker of the Month – September 2025

We are delighted to announce that our Care Worker of the Month award winner for September is Susan Billing – a care worker at The Orchards, Cygnet Health. Many congratulations Susan!

Susan was nominated by her colleague, Samantha Hatch.

Please find Samantha’s nomination story below:

“I would like to nominate Mrs Susan Billing as carer of the month.

“This lady goes over and beyond helping the staff and the residents within her care. She has taken time out unpaid to help residents go to see their families when she is also a carer to her elderly parents who require help every day. She has brought food and paid for treats because she cares and she loves to see them live their lives to the full potential.

“She is a very good listener to the staff, she even helps out at their home.

“Sue has managed to speak up for us staff when things have been hard at work, she is our mentor. Sue has no problem showing me time and time again all the medicines to sign in and all the paperwork a team leader needs to complete.

“This lady deserves a break and this would be a treat for her from us for her to win this month.”
