Care Worker of the Month – April 2025

We are delighted to announce that our Care Worker of the Month award winner for April is Marie Griffiths – a care worker from Allandale Care Group in Wirral. Marie was nominated by Activities Coordinator, Cheryl Galer.

Please find Cheryl’s nomination story below:

“I would like to nominate Marie Griffiths who works for Allandale Care group Wirral. She recently showed me how dedicated she is to our residents by asking to accompany a lady into hospital to help with her anxiety and smooth admission. She also prepared her a packed lunch without being prompted as the resident has some dietary requirements and this would help if she felt she needed to eat.

“Marie was doing this in her own time after her shift had finished and is so dedicated to our residents. She has worked in care for a long time and is so professional and caring she is an inspiration.
It turned out that she did not need to go to the hospital with her after all but her dedication and selflessness shone through and I feel she deserves care worker of the month.”
