Care Worker of the Month – February 2023

It is the last Friday of the month which can mean only one thing here at SCTV HQ! It is time to announce our Care Worker of the Month Award winner.

This month we were delighted to receive a very high number of entries. Thank you to everyone that entered. We were very moved by your incredible stories and nominations.

We are very pleased to announce that our winner for February is Caroline Williams – Activities Manager at Westlands Residential Dementia Care Home in Alton, Hampshire.

Caroline was nominated by her manager, Helen Brown. Please find Helen’s story below:

“Hi Team,

I would like to nominate our Activities Manager for this award.

A brief description of what she is and what she does below, please do let me know if you would like any further information.

Caroline Williams is the most dedicated person to this role that I have ever encountered and I have worked in this industry since 1978.  Caroline not only works hard within her allocated contracted hours, she is tirelessly looking for ideas and new activities and new entertainers, our program is amazing.

Caroline has promoted the care home and its residents in our local community as well as building our Facebook and Facebook friends.

Caroline is a true "grafter" and it really does show, her enthusiasm is second to none, families, friends, residents and staff are 100% behind Caroline too.

Caroline has also worked in this industry as a Deputy Manager, a Care Coordinator and a Manager in the Domiciliary sector, as you can see Caroline is a great asset to any home and we are very proud to say that she is "one of our team".
